Lab Testing
Lab work is one of the most useful diagnostic tools available in naturopathic medicine — when it’s ordered thoughtfully and interpreted carefully. This practice uses conventional bloodwork, specialty hormone panels, and functional medicine assessments where they’ll change the treatment plan. Tests are never ordered as a default. Every panel is recommended for a specific clinical reason, and results are reviewed with you in plain language.
What’s Included
Lab testing is offered as part of a treatment plan, not as a standalone service. The cost of standard bloodwork is often covered by your extended health plan; specialty testing is billed separately and quoted before any test is ordered.
- Standard Bloodwork — Complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, thyroid panel, iron studies, vitamin levels, and other conventional markers.
- Hormone Panels — Detailed assessment of sex hormones, cortisol patterns, and thyroid function for hormonal concerns.
- Functional Medicine Testing — Specialty panels including comprehensive stool analysis, food sensitivity testing, organic acid testing, and others where clinically indicated.
- In-Depth Interpretation — Results reviewed against optimal ranges, not just lab reference ranges. Trends and patterns matter as much as individual numbers.
- Results — A written summary of what the results mean, what's worth acting on, and what isn't.
